Chalkboard Cloth is reusable and can be used for craft projects, home decoration, teaching and child play. Use for children's placemats, cloth books, activity mats, toys, tablecloths, floor mats, banners, bunting, wall hangings, message or note boards, home office, kitchen shopping lists, reminder boards in children's bedrooms, menus and signs.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Before using Chalkcloth™ it is recommended to "season" its surface by rubbing the side of a piece of chalk (the common type made from calcium carbonate, not the clay variety used by artists or the dust free style - it has a polished surface which may scratch the Chalkcloth™) across the whole surface, side to side, top to bottom. Then wipe off the chalk with a soft cloth or a dry sponge. Repeat process again. The Chalkcloth™ is now "cured" and ready for years of enjoyment.
The Chalkcloth™ is erasable and a damp sponge may be used to completely renew. Latex erasers work extremely well. Pieces of chalkcloth are lightweight and portable compared to a chalkboard or slate. It may be attached to hard surfaces with a vinyl compatible adhesive or attaching with a staple gun or tacks. Because of the mesh backing the Chalkcloth™ can be easily cut and sewn. Never use solvent type cleaners containing acetone or methyl ethyl ketone. With proper care Chalkcloth™ can provide years of use.
