Woolly Nylon is a textured nylon serger thread with some stretch. It "bulks" when tension is eased making it perfect for overedge seams. Use it for all your knits. It makes a great decorative edge for napkins and tablecloths. Made in Japan
Woolly nylon is a stretchy, "woolly-like" thread that is made from spun nylon. It stretches when pulled out but returns to the original size when released. It also has a fuzzy, woolly look that helps fill in (bulk up) the stitch to stop fraying. This feature ensures a decorative and soft finish to projects where stretch fabrics are used such as swimwear, activewear, skirts, leggings, dancewear, lingerie and childrenswear. It is also ideal for home decorating projects like napkins and table runners. For use in overlockers (sergers) and coverstitch machines, thread woolly nylon in the upper looper and regular sewing thread in the lower looper. For swimwear, use in both upper and lower looper (outside and inside seam) for comfort. Match threads colours to fabric front and fabric back respectively.
