Non-roll elastic that resists rolling and twisting, making it ideal for when a more stable elastic is required. Stronger than both knit and braided elastic, it works best in light to medium-weight fabrics. A firmer elastic designed to maintain it's integrity during use, it does not narrow when stretched horizontally. Thicker than most other elastics, non-roll elastic is preferred when sewing waistbands and cuffs. It can be inserted into casings or even stitched directly onto fabrics. Other uses include at the hem of fleece pullovers,  enclosed within a knit cuff for jackets and sweaters, at the bottom of midriff summer tops, to secure picnic tablecloths, costume headbands and fabric covered shoulder straps for sundresses.
