Osnaburg is a natural-coloured, coarsely woven permanent press finish cotton fabric. It has a similar look to calico, with seeds visible in the weave. It is a popular favourite with quilters and stitchers for easy hand-stitching and embroidery and makes an excellent background for craft projects. This Osnaburg fabric is medium weight with a canvas-like handle, is sturdy and long-lasting with a more open weave than calico. A popular, basic vintage favourite, it is ideal for numerous craft applications.
