Drill is a durable cotton fabric woven with a diagonal pattern (twill). The diagonal strand appearance gives this fabric an interesting and unique texture. While the unique weave can heavily resemble denim, the feel is somewhat smoother than denim. Chino drill has a smooth, soft feel unlike heavier weight drill. Cotton drill is known for durability and sturdiness, while retaining some of the comforts associated with cotton. A high strength, tear resistant mid weight cloth strong in construction without being heavy or rigid. Cotton drill in made of 100% cotton. It can be washed many times, becomes softer, and even improves with age. A versatile plain fabric, it can be used for many projects making it extremely desirable for a range of apparel. home décor and interiors applications and craft projects. Some shrinkage may occur during production and in after care.
